Message Seeing why it only gets tighter to fit bigger and bigger turbo's in Z's. When cutting at the frame of the car which is the solid structure of the car is really the opposite one would think of doing adding monstrous power and torque. Shaving the block, custom fitting manifolds, customizing the motor mounts, rerunning lines, fittings is all part of making the Z a power house. Unlike car's that's turbo placement is right on top and a 6 to 8 hour change over job with all the clearance one needs.

So never feel inferior to another manufactures design and there massive power so commonly seen, when the reason behind it is clear by there design and placement of parts, not dominance.

This only came about after talking with friends who are totally mature, yet not thinking of the Z as a continuer in that ultimate street car. Because Pro drags and salt flat runs are all new custom turbo placement and fabricating designs to achieve those goals.

So hats off to those doing this TD06/20g and HKS 2835 turbo job. There is really so much time and money spend in these developments, that is far out weights the total cars valve just in parts, not the labor.
